| Topic: Material in 120 Degree heat | | Question | | Asked to quote on an outdoor sign for a doctors office; size 48" x 30" in a standard shape with an oval center routed out. Can I buy precut shapes or do I have to own a cnc router to do this? Can you buy less than a 4 x 8' sheet in 2" thick? Will you cut in half for shipping? Approx. cost? Can I cut with a saber saw? How do you finish the edge? Will the material hold up in 120 Degree heat? | | Answer | I am sorry we do not cut shapes. Although you certainly do not need a cnc router to cut this shape, a little planning and a saber saw will do nicely. 4’ x 8’’s are standard, however some distributors will sell half sheets. The edges are fished the same as the top and bottom, which is prime until smooth and then paint. As far as the heat is concerned, 120º is not a problem.
