| Topic: Glue for Sign•Foam blasting | | Question | | What would you recommend for glue to laminate Sign•Foam for blasting? | | Answer | You can use just about any adhesive, as long as its catalyzed. You may want to try our Sign•Grip3822 for this application. As far as the seam is concerned, the problem is that any glue you use will have a different consistency than Sign•Foam, so when you blast into the glue the seam just glares at you. To avoid this problem try blasting first and gluing second. You can put your pieces together, use a plywood stringer on the top and bottom edges along with some drywall screws to hold everything in place. Go ahead and mask and blast as you normally would and then come back and glue you pieces together. This way you will not blast into the glue and the seam will not be nearly as noticeable.
