Topic: Keystone effect
Question
i am trying to make a keystone effect on the background of my sign.what solution could i use to slightly melt it! does such a solution exist? I have tried acid and lacquer thinner.
Answer
Unfortunately for your situation there is no chemical that you can apply to Sign•Foam that will melt it or attack it in anyway. This chemical resistance is a huge benefit in most cases, however it is working against you here. You will have to look to a more mechanical method of removing the material. You might what to look at the use of a die grinder or “fordem” tool to get the look your after.
