| Topic: Keystone effect | | Question | | i am trying to make a keystone effect on the background of my sign.what solution could i use to slightly melt it! does such a solution exist? I have tried acid and lacquer thinner. | | Answer | Unfortunately for your situation there is no chemical that you can apply to Sign•Foam that will melt it or attack it in anyway. This chemical resistance is a huge benefit in most cases, however it is working against you here. You will have to look to a more mechanical method of removing the material. You might what to look at the use of a die grinder or “fordem” tool to get the look your after.
